magazine monday: vogue living

This beautiful apartment is located on the historic Place des Vosges; one of my favorite squares in Paris. The history and grandeur of the building played a big part in the design of the space, as both the owners and designer sought to honor and embrace it. The cabinets on the left were once used for laundry storage and now proudly display the family's collection of crockery and glassware. As is the case of many of the furnishings and decor in the apartment, the dining table and chairs are vintage finds that blend in beautifully with the understated and collected look of the interior. The room is made even more  authentic and true to its owners with the proudly displayed artwork by the kids and a funky light fixture that has been treasured by the family for years. Family heirlooms, prized objects from the past and present, and reimagined historic details make for a truly genuine home.

This is one of the most gorgeous rooms I have seen in a while. The grey on grey palette is so striking.

I would agree. I'm into gray for walls and this is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
