magazine monday: house beautiful

I love the nooks and tucked away spaces often found in older homes. They create cozy hide-aways that are the perfect backdrop for funky treasures. Although this small spot has many layers, things that would be otherwise lost in a larger room feel important. Their casual arrangement just adds to the charm...a top hat perched on a stack of magazines, a crystal ship chandelier casually hung in the corner, tear sheets and design inspiration given prominence on the wall while framed art is informally arranged on the floor. It's a tiny trove that packs a huge punch.
