There certainly is no shortage of furniture options out there, but finding pieces that are stylish, comfortable, durable, and healthy is a whole other story. When searching for our newest line to feature in the shop, we knew we were on to something when we heard about what interior-designer-turned-furniture-maker, Kristin Drohan, was up to. Our priorities lined up well with Kristin's and her collection of upholstered furniture is just what we were looking for. There are so many great features of the line. Here are our favorites:

> Tailored and timeless: From the moment we saw Kristin's collection we were impressed that it was stylish, but also looked inviting. We were instantly intrigued, so hopped a flight to check it out for ourselves. Sure enough, it proved to be furniture you want to look at AND lounge in.
> Comfortable, sustainable, and durable: Kristin developed a cushion that is not only made with sustainable materials, but also provides lasting comfort and durability. She also went the extra mile doing research on upholstery fabric for us to find a sustainably manufactured cotton blend that's soft, durable AND made in the USA....not an easy feat.
> U.S. made with responsibly sourced wood: Pieces are made in a North Carolina decades-old family-run furniture factory with wood from either abandoned mills (i.e. a distillery in Kentucky) or sustainably managed forests. The bed frame in our shop came from a former hosiery factory!
